I surprised my husband Rob with a day with Ray painting and what a brilliant experience and day we had. Rob is a massive Bob Ross fan and watched him as a kid growing up and now our 2 young boys watch it before bed so to actually be taught and paint with a certified Bob Ross painting teacher was perfect. We will be back with our eldest Harvey very soon. Thank you Ray, we learnt so much and will continue to paint at home and keep practicing until we come again 😀

Ray has generous patience; quietly guiding his students through the wet-on-wet painting technique. Amazing results can be seen within minutes of the first brush strokes being applied. Clouds appear with a magical realism. Mountains and rivers can be formed with substance, distance and dramatic features. Ray encourages experimentation – you are in charge of creating the scene that inspires you. Ray gently hints at how to achieve the effect. In a day a painting will be produced that is very pleasing, not least because you can feel it is all your own work.

I visited Ray with my partner for a landscape painting session using Bob Ross technique. I’ve never painted before all I can say is wow! I’m so amazed at the end result. Truly those with no experience can create a beautiful painting. Ray is a great teacher and created a calm and friendly environment. Worth every penny.
