Ray has generous patience; quietly guiding his students through the wet-on-wet painting technique. Amazing results can be seen within minutes of the first brush strokes being applied. Clouds appear with a magical realism. Mountains and rivers can be formed with substance, distance and dramatic features. Ray encourages experimentation - you are in charge of creating the scene that inspires you. Ray gently hints at how to achieve the effect. In a day a painting will be produced that is very pleasing, not least because you can feel it is all your own work.

I visited Ray with my partner for a landscape painting session using Bob Ross technique. I’ve never painted before all I can say is wow! I’m so amazed at the end result. Truly those with no experience can create a beautiful painting. Ray is a great teacher and created a calm and friendly environment. Worth every penny. If you’re thinking about trying painting.. do it!! You won’t regret it and the results may just surprise you. My friend and family can’t believe I created such a masterpiece!!
